KAYAKALPA
Holistic Centre for Body, Mind and Soul

The Various aspects are

Physical : The tangible structure with the five senses (hear, touch, vision, taste and smell)

Emotional : The range of emotions from love and joy to fear and anger

Intellectual : Knowledge, attitude, beliefs etc

Spiritual : Relationship with yourself, life purpose and relationship with a higher power
All these aspects work together to make a whole person. What happens to one aspect can affect all the other aspects. This relationship between the different aspects is often referred to as the Body, Mind and Soul connection. Since all the 4 parts must work in harmony to achieve wellness, each part needs attention and care to perform at its best.

• The physical body requires good nutrition, appropriate weight, exercise and adequate rest.

• The Emotional aspect needs to give and receive forgiveness, love and compassion; needs to laugh and experience happiness and enjoy joyful relationships

• The Intellectual aspect needs self supportive attitudes, positive thoughts and view points and a positive self image

• The spiritual aspect requires inner calmness, openness to creativity, trust in your inner knowing

The Captain of the team
A comfortable, healthy balance between Body, Mind and Soul does not happen accidentally. One has to be in charge of this. The behaviour and the choices one makes in their life affect their life. Choose to do what is good for oneself and the world around.

Caring for the team:

All diseases have their origin in imbalance. Imbalance can occur in the physical, emotional, intellectual or spiritual aspect and one needs to be conscious of these factors to act quickly to prevent any illness.

The Spiritual Journey
Spiritual development of an individual is the most important component of the program at Kayakalpa.

The true human personality consists of the physical body, the energy body, conscious mind, sub conscious mind and consciousness or Atman.

The physical body is a life-less machine acting under the control of the conscious and sub-conscious mind. Therefore the personality of human beings cannot be the personality of the physical body. The conscious mind perceives and thinks during waking hours and does not operate during the sleeping hours. Therefore it is not the true self of human being. Moreover it is possible for us to suspend the thinking and operation of the conscious mind during the meditation and still be aware of one’s true self. Therefore we are not the conscious mind. The sub conscious mind stores all our thoughts and generates our dream and this is only a component of the human personality.

The true self of the human beings is the Atman, the awareness or conscious component present during the waking, sleeping and dreaming state.

This consciousness in all human beings is homogenous in nature. As the consciousness is a true nature of every human being and is the same to all. Thus all human beings are equal to each other. Once we perceive this reality, the ego and selfish desires are shattered thus eliminating all negative emotions and results in peace and bliss.

The goal of the spiritual journey is to transcend ego and internalize and practice the truth that all beings are equal. The resulting bliss and ecstasy is the very purpose of living for all human beings.

Kayakalpa’s approach to diagnosis
Kayakalpa adopts a five-step approach of diagnosis to an illness
• Assessing the origin of the health disorder by identifying the Prakruthi and Vikrithi

• Identifying the energy imbalances through chakras in different parts of the bio-plasmic body

• Identifying the psychological causes for the somatized diseases

• Identifying the thinking flaws and misplaced values and beliefs

• Identifying the areas of life which needs clarity and focus.
