Gauri Vrat
Gauri Vrat is an important fasting period dedicated to Goddess Parvati. This Gauri Vrat is celebrated mainly in Gujarat. The fast of Gauri Puja is mainly observed by unmarried girls in the desire of a good husband.
Devshayani Ekadashi
Monsoon arrives in India and brings with it many festivals and fasts or pujas celebrated by millions of people in the country. The months of Ashadha and Shravan in the Hindu calendar, mainly in June and July, are a series of holy days.
Vasudev Dwadashi
Vasudev Dwadashi is dedicated to Lord Krishna. It is celebrated on the next day of Devshayani Ekadashi, during the month of Ashadha. It marks the beginning of Chatur Maas (the four holy months of monsoon).
Jaya Parvati Vrat
Jaya Parvati Vrat or Gauri Vrat is observed in the month of Ashadha according to the Hindu calendar. On this occasion married and unmarried women fast for 5 days to fulfill their wishes.
Ashadha Purnima
The full moon day occurring in the Hindu month of Ashadha is known as Ashadha Purnima. On this auspicious occasion, people worship Lord Vishnu and observe Gopadam Vrat.
Vyas Puja
Vyas Puja is celebrated on the full moon day of the month of Ashadha. This day is celebrated as the birth anniversary of Ved Vyas. On this day, disciples worship and pay respect to the gurus. The three groups of Acharyas, Krishna Panchakam, Vyasa Panchakam and Shankaracharya Panchakam are worshiped during this puja.
Kokila Vrat
Kokila Vrat is observed on the full moon day of Ashadh month. It is believed that Kokila Vrat should be observed in those years when Ashadh is Adhik Maas. In other words, Kokila Vrat should be observed only when Ashadha month falls for two months.
Ashadha Purnima Vrat
Ashadha Purnima Vrat is observed on the full moon day of the month of Ashadha. This month is the fourth month in the Hindu calendar and falls in the month of July-August according to the Gregorian calendar. According to the Hindu calendar, most full moon days are associated with an important festival of the month.
Guru Purnima
In Hindu culture, Guru or teacher has always been considered equal to God. Guru Purnima (guru purnima in Hindi) or Vyasa Purnima is the day to express our gratitude towards our Gurus. Guru is a Sanskrit word which literally means one who frees us from ignorance.
Mangala Gauri Vrat

Karka Sankranti
Sankranti means the change of Sun from one zodiac sign to another. Karak Sankranti marks the beginning of the southern journey of Lord Surya. Dakshinayana, which is of six months, starts from Karaka Sankranti.
Kamika Ekadashi
The Ekadashi that falls in the Krishna Paksha of the month of Shravan is called Kamika Ekadashi. This year this Ekadashi falls on Wednesday, 21 July 2025. Kamika Ekadashi is dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
Sawana Shivaratri
Shivratri has been considered a festival of worship of Mahadev. Every month Chaturdashi Tithi of Krishna Paksha is celebrated as Masik Shivratri. Whereas Mahashivaratri is celebrated once a year, which is the monthly Shivaratri of the month of Magha.
Hariyali Amavasya
The new moon that falls during the holy month of Sawan or Shravan is celebrated as Hariyali Amavasya and is considered highly auspicious. Hariyali Amavasya usually falls three days before the famous Hariyali Teej
Nag Panchami

Kalki Jayanti
