As Uttar Pradesh (UP) assembly elections are drawing near, the hyper-active phase of political allegations and counter-allegations has already commenced. In a new development, former MP and the leader of Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD), Jayant Chaudhari has made a scathing attack on the ruling BJP. While addressing a rally at Jewar of Gautam Budh Nagar in UP, he claimed that the state government has failed in solving peoples’ problems and it is essentially anti-farmer. Earlier, Chaudhary met senior Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi, which has triggered speculation, in the run-up to the 2022 UP assembly polls.
