Navratri 2023: Know These Rules Of Kanya Puja

After worshiping Goddess Durga, there is a tradition of worshiping the girl child. Maa Durga is pleased by worshiping the girl child in Navratri. Hence, if you organise Kanya Bhoj, Maa Durga’s blessing will always shower on you. Although Kanya Puja can be done on any day of Navratri, but usually on Navami, devotees who fast, organise Kanya Puja and conclude the Navratri with this ritual. However, there are some rules which need to be followed during Kanya Puja. 

  • After Navratri puja, worshipping of 9 girls and one boy is considered the best.
  • If the above ritual is not possible, then at least feed two girls.
  • During Kanya Puja, wash the feet of girls and clean them with your hands.
  • The age of the girls should be between 2 to 10 years.
  • Lord Shiva has kept each Bhairav ​​for the protection of Adishakti, so his worship is also necessary.
