Amalaki Ekadashi 2025

The Amalaki Ekadashi falls in the Phalgun month’s Shukla Paksha. The Hindu faith considers this day to be particularly fortunate since, on this day, people worship Lord Vishnu in the shape of the “Amla” (Indian Gooseberry) tree. Lord Vishnu is claimed to have given birth to Lord Brahma in order to establish the cosmos, and on the same day, he also gave birth to the Amla tree. As a result of this, the Amalaki Ekadashi is also known as the Amla Ekadashi.

Holi 2025

The most well-known festival of March, Holi, is a festival of colours and love and celebrates the story of the victory of Prahalad over King Hiranyakashipu. In Hindu Panchang, the Holi falls on Phalgun Purnima. It is also considered the day of resolving conflicts. On the next day, People go to see their friends and relatives play with the colours and water. In India, Vrindavan is the place to be on the day of Holi.

Rang Panchami 2025

Rang Panchami is celebrated for 2 to 5 days, depending on the regions and traditions. It falls on the Krishna Paksha Panchami of Phalgun. A Holika is ignited, representing the story of Holika and the victory of the good over the evil. Apart from the story of Prahalad, Holika, and Hiranyakashipu, the Rang Panchami also celebrates the victory of Lord Krishna over the demon Putna.
